CREATE A SCHOOL ACCOUNT

This page allows you to create an account for your school.  Step one is to make really freaking sure that there isn't already an account set up.  If you're ready to go, taking the next step will display a list of all the schools that have accounts already.  CAREFULLY examine the list -- make sure that the name "College" or "University" doesn't precede the school name -- and scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen.  If the name does appear and no account is set up yet, just enter your contact information and a password and you're ready to go.  If it does not appear, you can click a link to create a new account.  At the bottom of the screen are further instructions.  Step one to setting up the account is to click this link to: View current School List.

Frequently asked questions:

WHY DO I HAVE TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT?  You need a password so that you and only you can make tournament entries, enter judge preference sheets, etc.  Plus, entering the information in one central file will make the collection and tabulation of results for things like NDT and CEDA points MUCH easier...the school name is the same every time, so is the acronym, etc.

ARE YOU GOING TO SELL MY INFORMATION?  Are you serious?  Do you think anyone cares enough about the debate world to want to buy this stuff?  Seriously, the answer is no.  There are no cookies here, I have no idea how to create pop-up ads, you will not get junk email about porn sites, and the only information that will be shared is with tournament directors who will mostly call when you've marked 13 "A" judges too many.

WHICH BOOK IS THE BEST IN DOUGLAS ADAMS' HITCHIKER TRILOGY?  Well, its certainly not "Mostly Harmless," which is downright depressing.  Generally, you should bask in the notion that there are 6 books in the trilogy, and if pressed say "The Restaurant at the end of the Universe," which has the worst title but the best storyline.
